PURPOSE: A photovoltaic generating apparatus performing an optical sensor search operation is provided to maximize photovoltaic generation efficiency by controlling a solar ray sensor in order to vary a position of a solar cell in correspondence with a trajectory or an altitude of the sun. CONSTITUTION: A solar ray sensor senses a luminance of the sun and outputs signals including trajectory signals and altitude signals. A motor driver drives a motor for trajectory tracing and a motor for altitude tracing of a solar ray concentrating apparatus. A data communication unit transmits the signals detected by the solar ray sensor. A data storage unit stores data transmitted by the data communication unit. A controller controls the motor driver by using the sensed signals inputted from the solar ray sensor. |
