PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to apply a metal wiring to fine patterning of other display device. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display comprises a gate line which is formed on a substrate into a matrix shape, a data line(113a) which is formed on the substrate, and a common line which is arranged in parallel with the gate line. The data line and the gate line defines a gate electrode on an intersecting area. The gate electrode is branched from the gate line. A source electrode is branched from a gate insulation layer, an active layer, an ohmic contact layer, or a data line. |
