<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase efficiency of registration operation while ensuring validity in registration of biometric authentication in a biometrics system. <P>SOLUTION: When biological information is input from an input device 13 for registration, signal pattern ID for identifying the registration operation is generated, and a light emission pattern is output from a light emission part 53 in response thereto, and the light emission pattern is captured by a camera 15, and signal pattern ID extracted from the content of imaging is compared with generated signal pattern ID, to determine the validity of a registrant.
