摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of reducing driving frequency of a focus lens, and also, appropriately obtaining an image focused on an object. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a light-receiving means 110 having a microlens array 111 in which a plurality of microlenses 111a are two-dimensionally arrayed, and a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements 112a disposed corresponding to the plurality of microlenses 111a, and configured to output a plurality of light-receiving signals obtained by receiving luminous flux from an optical system through the microlenses 111a; a detecting means 142 configured to detect a deviation amount between the image plane of the optical system and the light-receiving surface of the light-receiving means 110 based on the light-receiving signals; a focusing means 150 configured to focus the optical system based on the deviation amount; and a control means 150 configured to, when the image plane corresponding to the deviation amount is included in the range of the image plane in which the image can be formed based on the light-receiving signals, generate the image of the image plane corresponding to the deviation amount based on the light-receiving signal selected out of the plurality of light-receiving signals in accordance with the deviation amount, to display the image.
