PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a lens driving apparatus that is easily manufactured, excellent in workability and prevents disconnection from occurring in a connection part of a coil and a power supply terminal; an auto-focus camera; and a cell phone with a camera. SOLUTION: The lens driving apparatus 1 makes a lens support 5 move back and forth by using electromagnetic force generated due to energization of the coil 19 wound around an outer periphery of the lens support 5. The coil 19 is configured by winding a coated conductive wire S so that the coil is laminated radially toward the outside of the lens support 5, with the inner periphery side of the coil 19 and the outermost periphery side thereof as a winding-start layer and a winding-end layer, respectively. At least one side of a winding-start side part of the coil 19 and a winding-end side part thereof is connected with the power supply terminal 27a by using a connection means accompanied by heat. A coating material of the coated conductive wire S is removed by melting it with the heat generated in the connection means.
