PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding program further reducing the labor of an operator, and carrying out grinding processing in a shorter period of time, in grinding an optional size of a workpiece. SOLUTION: A computer allowed to function by manual operation of an operator, includes: manual moving means relatively moving a grinding wheel with respect to the workpiece in the rotation axis (z-axis) direction of the workpiece and in the direction (x-axis) perpendicular to the rotation axis of the workpiece until the forefront of the grinding wheel T1 comes in contact with the boundary between the cylindrical surface and the end surface of the workpiece W; contact position storage means storing a position in the workpiece rotation axis direction and a position in the direction perpendicular to the workpiece rotation axis of the forefront of the grinding wheel in the state where the forefront of the grinding wheel is in contact with the boundary between the cylindrical surface and the end surface of the work piece; grinding margin input means allowing the operator to input a grinding margin; and grinding control means relatively moving the grinding wheel with respect to the workpiece, based on the position (Pstd) stored in the contact position storage means and the grinding margins (ΔXT,ΔZT) inputted from the grinding margin input means, so as to grind the portion of the input grinding margin.
