PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composition for molding a casting mold, a binder composition capable of suppressing odor due to fran resin, and to provide a manufacturing method of a casting mold using the same. SOLUTION: The binder composition for molding a casting mold contains fran resin and gallic acid. The manufacturing method of a casting mold includes a step of hardening a mixture containing the binder composition for molding a casting mold, refractory particles, and a hardener.
