PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device in which vibration of a traverse chassis is suppressed even when an optical disk is rotated at high speed. SOLUTION: In the optical disk device, a control means 82 controls a motor 61 so as to continue driving of a cam slider 7 until the cam slider 7 moves, a traverse chassis 3 lifts an optical disk, and an elevation boss 31 is pressed to the end of a cam groove 72.
