PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-thread processor and a control method thereof for improving processing efficiency by simple processing. SOLUTION: The multi-thread processor is provided with: an instruction storage means; an instruction fetch means; an accumulation means for accumulating the instruction of one cycle including at least one unit of instruction of each thread; and an instruction execution control means for controlling execution of the instruction on the basis of the instruction accumulated by the accumulation means. The instruction execution control means determines whether memory access instructions are continued or not for the instruction of one cycle accumulated by the accumulation means, and controls execution of the instruction to, when the memory access instructions are continued, execute the instruction accumulated earlier in the accumulation means among the continued memory access instructions, in the next cycle, and to, for a thread in which the memory access instruction exists in the instruction of one cycle, execute the instruction subsequent to the memory access instruction of the thread, in the next cycle.
