PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for improving the operation efficiency of a planetary roller screw device and preventing the leakage of lubricating oil from the planetary roller screw device. SOLUTION: The planetary roller screw device includes a central screw shaft having a shaft screw formed on an outer peripheral face, a cylindrical nut having a nut screw formed on an inner peripheral face, a plurality of planetary rollers which have roller screws on the outer peripheral faces for meshing with the shaft screw and the nut screw, a planetary pinion gear formed on both ends of the planetary rollers, a ring gear fixed on the inner peripheral face of the nut and guiding the revolution of the planetary roller by meshing with the planetary pinion gear, and a retainer for retaining a protruding shaft part formed on the both ends of the planetary roller. A hole of the retainer fitted with the protruding shaft part is the bottomed hole, and a seal ring made of an elastic body is inserted in the space between the outer periphery of the retainer and the inner periphery of a retainer storage hole of the nut.
