PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation circuit which can obtain an accurate oscillation frequency during normal operation while suppressing useless power consumption during standby, to provide an integrated circuit device and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The oscillation circuit includes a buffer circuit BF for oscillation of a vibrator XTAL, and a variable capacitance circuit CX1(CX2) connected to a first connection node being one side of an input side or an output side of the buffer circuit BF to set a capacity value to a variable state. During normal operation, the capacity value of the variable capacitance circuit CX1(CX2) is set to CN, and during standby, the capacity value of the variable capacitance circuit CX1(CX2) is set to CS, satisfying a relation CN>CS.
