<p>A system and method for a terminal to feed back a wideband Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) are provided in the present invention. The method includes: after dividing terminals into groups, a Base Station (BS) selects a terminal to feed back the wideband CQI for each terminal and notifies the terminal feeding back wideband CQI. And the terminal feeding back wideband CQI sends the BS a wideband CQI after receiving the notification. According to the wideband CQIs fed back by one or more terminals in a terminal group, the BS determines the wideband CQIs of other terminals in the terminal group. With the method and system in the invention, uplink feedback overhead is able to be reduced, and especially in case that the number of the wideband CQI is superior, be decreased greatly.</p> |
