PURPOSE: A P2P(Peer To Peer) transmission system using a class tracker and a tracker apparatus therefor are provided to efficiently transmit contents and to reduce a load of a tracker. CONSTITUTION: A master tracker(102) is connected to a contents provider server. Sub trackers(104-1~104-n) are connected to the master tracker. The sub trackers manage adjacent one or more peers with a first group. In case the one or more peers need to download the contents, the sub trackers readjust a second group to the first group by interlocking with the master tracker according to an availability of the contents in the first group.
