PURPOSE: An electro-coating method using a vacuum ion plating technique is provided to enhance contact and abrasion reliability compared when electro-coating is made on a base, since the electro-coating is performed on a vacuum ion plating layer. CONSTITUTION: An electro-coating method using a vacuum ion plating technique comprises next steps. One of Al, Ag, Ti, Ni, Sn, Cr, Cu, C and alloy is used to make vacuum ion plating on the surface of a base. Electro-coating is made on the surface of the plating layer of the plated base.
