PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a camber are provided to properly control a camber even if the condition of a steel sheet is changed. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling a camber comprises a shape measurement unit(110), a camber control unit(130), and a camber measurement unit(120). The shape measurement unit measures the shapes of a camber of a steel sheet and an asymmetric dog bone. The camber control unit predicts a camber, which can be generated on a steel sheet when the steel sheet is rolled, from the measured shape data and controls the level of a first stand to eliminate the predicted camber. The camber measurement unit measures the camber generated on the steel sheet after the steel sheet is rolled.
