PURPOSE: An image sensor and a producing method thereof are provided to prevent the dissolve of a color filter and a planarization layer formed with organic compounds during a post-wetting process. CONSTITUTION: An image sensor comprises the following: a semiconductor substrate(100) including a photo-diode; an interlayer dielectric layer(150) including a metal wire, located on the semiconductor substrate; a color filter layer(200) located on the upper side of the interlayer dielectric layer; a first capping layer(300) located on the upper side of the color filter layer; and a micro-lens(400) located on the upper side of the first capping layer. The first capping layer contains germanium ions.
