<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of lengthening a cruising distance of a vehicle, by allowing a driver to early recognize replenishment of power, by preferentially supplying electric power to a system higher in priority of electric power supply than the electric power steering device, when vehicle electric power reduces. <P>SOLUTION: This electric power steering device has a steering torque detecting means for detecting steering torque applied to steering, a motor for generating assist force for assisting steering operation in a steering wheel and a motor control means for controlling the motor based on the steering torque.
