PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: ranitidine-containing coated particles having excellent ranitidine masking effect; a method for producing the ranitidine-containing coated particle; and a granular pharmaceutical preparation containing the ranitidine-containing coated particle.

SOLUTION: There is provided the ranitidine-containing coated particles obtained by coating the surface of a ranitidine-carrying particle having ranitidine carried in a carrier with a polyethylene glycol having a melting point of ≥45°C.
