PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding method and a grinder which can precisely decide an inner side and an outer side of a line and ascertain an accuracy by changing a full line for displaying a work position to a dotted line or a broken line to draw a straight line, a curve and a circle and can achieve a fine grinding work of a micron unit with a high working accuracy of 0.025 to 0.0083 mm using the broken line even by an unskilled worker. SOLUTION: In an image processing system for the grinder, even an unskilled worker having little experience can carry out a grinding work by a manual operation. Thus, a measurement of a dimension is carried out by a display image of the grinder. During a work, a work image is projected in real time. An image is read by a computer and a work dimension is overlapped on a center of a cross line 2 of a grinding part to draw the image by the broken line except the straight line.
