PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder having a higher coupling efficiency onto a glass chopped strand intersecting point in a glass chopped strand laminate in comparison with a conventional binder, exhibiting excellent flexibility, and giving a uniform glass chopped strand mat having necessary mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The binder for a glass chopped strand mat comprises a polyester resin powder (A) having a volume-average particle diameter Dv of 280-350μm and a coefficient Cv of variation of volume-based particle diameter distribution of 10-35% as measured by the laser diffraction scattering method.
