PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle, which secures each air passage of hot air and cold air and improves temperature controllability of air-conditioned air adjusted in temperature by mixing hot air and cold air. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner 1, an open state in which cold air can be passed in a cold air passing hole 20 is shifted from a close state in which a plurality of opening parts 21 to 23 are closed by an air mix door 8 to a full open state in which all the plurality of opening parts 21 to 23 are started to be opened via a partial open state in which at least one opening part of the plurality of opening parts 21 to 23 is started to be opened.
