PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement hardened body having sufficient resistance to physical degradation by sulfate and a method for constructing the hardened body. SOLUTION: The cement hardened body 10 includes an underground part 10b buried in the ground and an above-ground part 10a which extends from the underground part 10b and is provided on the ground. A water-proofing material 15 is applied to the surface of the cement hardened body 10, at least from the above-ground part 10a side of the underground part 10b to the underground part 10b side of the above-ground part 10a.
