摘要 Systems and methods are disclosed for improving power efficiency in battery-charging DC power control systems when a power source input voltage is fluctuating. Power is received from the power sources in the form of AC or DC electrical energy and is controlled and regulated by the DC power control systems into DC voltages for charging batteries and/or for driving output loads. Input voltage from the power sources may fluctuate and may drop below a voltage level required to charge the batteries, resulting in a loss in power conversion efficiency. Embodiments of the present disclosure detect low input voltage, boost the low input voltage to a sufficient voltage level for charging the batteries, and manage the distribution of the battery power and input power to the loads to increase power efficiency while meeting load power demands.
