<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink device for a high-power LED streetlight. <P>SOLUTION: The heat sink device for the high-power LED streetlight has a base, heat sink columnar bodies are provided on the upper surface of the base, and air courses are formed between the heat sink columnar bodies. The heat sink columnar bodies are each molded such that the cross section thereof is formed into a polygon, such as a rhombus, a triangle and a pentagon, the upright ridge thereof is opposed to the side line of an upper edge of the base, and surfaces adjacent to each other on both sides of the upright ridge form a slope opposite to the side line of the upper edge of the base. Heat of an LED is quickly conducted to the heat sink columnar body through a heat conductor and a heat conductive tube to achieve heat sink operation. Outside air is introduced through the slope of the heat sink columnar body to flow in an air course and to flow around the heat sink columnar body, and consequently the heat sink columnar body receives the air from 360° to quickly carry and discharge the heat, thereby obtaining excellent heat sink effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
