摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an impregnated cathode body structure for preventing deformation and cracks at an upper end of a support cylinder when brazing a cathode disk and the support cylinder by a brazing material. <P>SOLUTION: The impregnated cathode body structure includes the cathode disk 11 with a surface impregnated with an electron radiation substance as a thermoelectronic emission surface 11a, a heater 20 disposed at the back 15 of the cathode disk to heat the cathode disk, and the support cylinders 13, 14 for housing the heater and supporting the cathode disk on the back 15 or a side face. In the impregnated cathode body structure, the support cylinders 13, 14 include support cylinder flanges 13a, 14a bonded to the back by brazing with a butt surface butted to one portion of the back of the overhang cathode disk in an inner periphery. The cathode disk includes dents 21, 22 that are formed annularly on the back corresponding to the butt surface of the support cylinder flanges and are made narrower than the support cylinder flange width so that the dents 21, 22 stay within the butt surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
