PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately form an inclined part without forming whisker shaped part in the inclined part formed in a side end edge of a rear end of a carton blank. SOLUTION: A punching die 10 for the carton blank includes a lower die 11 and an upper die 14. A ruled line cutting edge 21 and a cutting edge 15 are provided in the upper die 14. The cutting edge 15 has one pair of side edge cutting edges 17 and 17 corresponding to both side edges 5c and 5d of the carton blank 5 and an end side cutting edge 16 corresponding to an end edge 5a of an end side. The end side cutting edge 16 includes an orthogonal cutting edge 16a orthogonal to a conveying direction L and an inclined cutting edge 16b connected to one end side of the orthogonal cutting edge 16a to from the inclined part 5e of the carton blank 5. One side edge cutting edge 17 has an extended cutting edge 18 extended to a rear end side in the conveying direction L.
