PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SIMD type microprocessor configured such that the rearrangement of data is efficiently performed and the increase of a circuit scale is suppressed, and a data alignment method of the SIMD type microprocessor. SOLUTION: A GP2 performs read processing A, and stores read data in a register 17a of a read register 17, and performs read processing B, and stores read data in a register 17b of the read register 17, and rearranges the data stored in the register 17a by a combination circuit 18, and rewrites the data via a write register 19 to a register 3, and rearranges the data stored in the register 17b by the combination circuit 18, and rewrites the data via the write register 19 to the register file 3.
