The invention relates to a method for securing a motor vehicle wiring harness (100) comprising an electric wire (120) and a sheath (110), said method comprising a step (300) in which the electric wire (120) is attached to an insert (200) by means of welding or crimping. The invention is characterised in that the method comprises a crimping step (310) including the following operations: a tightening operation (311) in which the sheath (110) is tightened against the insert (200) at least at the toothed portion (220) of the insert (200); and an over-moulding operation (312) in which an over-mould (600) is formed around at least part of the harness (100) and the insert (200). |
