<p>A method, center data gateway and system for realizing roaming of a digital television reception terminal are disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention. The method includes: receiving an authentication request from a digital television reception terminal, wherein the authentication request includes identification information of the digital television reception terminal (S301); judging, according to the identification information of the digital television reception terminal, whether the digital television reception terminal belongs to a local user (S302); if not, acquiring authentication information and authorization information of the digital television reception terminal from a center data gateway (S303). In the embodiments of the present invention, a local front end system authenticates and authorizes an accessed foreign digital television reception terminal via the central data gateway. As a result, the digital television reception terminal can use digital television service in foreign lands and roam between different front end systems, and thus the hardware investments are decreased, and the maintenance costs and the maintenance difficulties for operators are reduced.</p> |
