PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve display quality by increasing brightness of light which is projected from a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(190) is formed on the upper plate or the lower plate of a liquid crystal panel. A second electrode is formed in order to be corresponded to the first electrode. A liquid crystal layer(170) is formed between the upper plate and the lower plate. The liquid crystal is arranged by the electric field difference between the second electrode and the first electrode and has a predetermined reflection ratio. A light guide plate(130) radiates the light from the light source to the upper plate direction.
