<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device with which irradiation power and a waveform of a recording pulse are corrected while maintaining depth of a record. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device 200 has a beta measuring part 60, a mark edge deviation measuring part 70, a write strategy operation part 100, and a correction power operation part 120. In the beta measuring part 60, depth β of a record in an optical disk is measured based on a level of light reflected from the optical disk 1. In the mark edge deviation measuring part 70, mark edge deviation between a reference clock edge and a mark edge is measured. In the write strategy operation part 100, an amount of correction of a recording pulse waveform is calculated based on the deviation of the measured mark edge. In the correction power operation part 120, an amount of correction of irradiation power of a recording pulse is calculated by calculating an influence upon the depth β of the record exerted by formation of a mark and a space caused by correction of the recording pulse waveform, and adding the influence to the measured depth β of the record. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
