<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for inorganic substance-suspended waste water, in flocculating setting treatment for inorganic substance-suspended waste water, which can obtain treated water of high water quality, further improves the dehydration treatment efficiency for sludge generated in the flocculation setting treatment, and reduces the amount of dehydrated cakes and treatment cost. <P>SOLUTION: Inorganic substance-suspended waste water is admixed with an organic coagulant made of a polymer composed of a dialkylaminoalkyl(meth)acrylate monomer by 60 to 100 mol% and having an intrinsic viscosity of 1.0 to 3.0 dl/g.
