<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage sliding mechanism for sliding a bearing part of a carriage along a guide shaft to move the carriage, so as to prevent the bearing part from clogging and malfunctioning due to the accumulated dust on the guide shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The carriage sliding mechanism includes the carriage 2 with a head for recording/reproducing information and a pair of guide shafts 3 and 4 arranged in parallel in a direction of moving the carriage 2. In the carriage sliding mechanism including bearing parts 5a and 5b for supporting the carriage 2 so as to move along the guide shafts 3 and 4, the guide shafts 3 and 4 each have a convex cross section in its upper part and slopes 7a and 7b having a predetermined angle on both sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
