<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character input device which can effectively perform appropriate character conversion by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: The character input device determines an input character based on an operation of an operation part, prepares at least one conversion candidate character corresponding to the input character, and makes a display section display it. When a conversion candidate character is selected by an operation of the operation part, the character input device makes the display section display a plurality of decoration candidates for the conversion candidate character. When it is detected by the operation of the operation part that a displayed decoration candidate is selected, the character input device makes the display section display a decorated conversion candidate based on the selected decoration candidate as a fixed character determined as an input, thus solving the problem. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
