Disclosed is a control device that can limit the power used in a house, taking room priorities into account. Said control device (100), which controls a plurality of appliances connected to house wiring, is provided with: a memory device (20) which stores a reference power (21), basic appliance point information (22) that indicates control priority levels for determining a control order among the appliances, and room information (23) that indicates priority levels for rooms in which the appliances are disposed; an acquisition unit (12) which acquires a power usage from a power meter (400) that measures the power used by the appliances; a change unit (11) which changes the basic appliance point information (22) on the basis of the room information (23); a determination unit (13) which determines whether or not the obtained power usage has exceeded the reference power (21); and a transmission unit (1081). If the obtained power usage has exceeded the reference power (21), the transmission unit transmits, to an appliance that has a high control priority after the aforementioned change, a command to reduce power usage.
