PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a display device having the same are provided to embody a display screen with high contrast ratio. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit of a display device comprises a plurality of light source which are installed along a longitudinal direction of a substrate to a predetermined interval, a light incident part(331) which receives light from the light source, and a light guide plate which is arranged in parallel with a plurality of row and columns. The light guide plate comprises a plurality of reflection sheets which is placed on the lower part of the light guide plate. |
