PURPOSE: An automatic teller machine is provided to simplify the whole structure by collecting a rejected paper medium by detecting the abnormal state and a retracted paper medium which is unreceived in the payment part in one space. CONSTITUTION: A reject medium transfer part(160) is connected to a medium transfer part(120) transferring the paper medium provided from a media storage(110) storing paper mediums. And when the paper medium is transferred along to the medium transfer part, the rejected paper medium is transferred due to detected the abnormal state. A carrier position adjusting portion(150) adjusts the location of the media carrier transporting the retracted paper medium by unreceiving in the defrayment process of the paper medium. A collection media storage(170) is arranged in the rear-end region of the rejected medium transfer part and the rejected paper medium is saved, or is arranged within the moving range of the media carrier and the retracted the paper medium is also saved. A discharge path of the paper medium is formed within the discharge path of the paper medium exhausted from the rejected medium transfer part and the displacement space of the common exhausted from the media carrier to the collection media storage. |
