PURPOSE: A vehicle exhaust heat recovery thermoelectric generator is provided to simultaneously achieve enhancement of generation performance and reduction of an exhaust gas back pressure. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle exhaust heat recovery thermoelectric generator includes an exhaust gas inlet, a case(110), a pin plate(120), a thermoelectric power generation device layer(130), a heat sink(140), and a pin(121). Exhaust gas flows through the exhaust has inlet into the generator. The case includes an exhaust gas outlet formed at the backside thereof and is connected to an exhaust has passage. The pin plates is formed in such a manner that a plurality of pins is arranged on a plate in the vertical direction. The pin plate is combined with the top and bottom of the case such that the pins are arranged inside the case. The thermoelectric power generation device layer includes a plurality of thermoelectric power generating elements. The thermoelectric power generation device layer generates electricity according to Seebeck effect. The heat sink includes a cooling water inlet and a cooling water outlet.
