摘要 PURPOSE: A method for separating active ingredients from crude terephthalic acid residues is provided to individually separate active ingredients, benzoic acids, p-toluenic acids, and 4-carboxybenzaldehyde, from waste discarded as crude terephthalic acid residues, using chloroform. CONSTITUTION: A method for separating active ingredients from crude terephthalic acid residues comprises the steps of: (i) washing and filtering the crude terephthalic acid residues with water to remove organometallic compounds and catalysts; (ii) drying crude terephthalic acid residues from which the organometallic compounds and catalysts are removed; and (iii) adding chloroform to the dried crude terephthalic acid residues, and melting, cooling and filtering active ingredients to separate the active ingredients.
