<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purge evaporated fuel (vapor) collected in a canister irrespective of the operating state of an internal combustion engine to an intake passage, and also to simplify a configuration to selectively use an ejector. <P>SOLUTION: This evaporated fuel treatment apparatus collects vapor generated in a fuel tank 5 in the canister 23. A bypass passage 21 is formed in the intake passage 3. The ejector 22 is placed in the bypass passage 21 to generate negative pressure by air flowing in the bypass passage 21. When the negative pressure is generated in the ejector 22, the vapor collected in the canister 23 is drawn from the canister 23 to the ejector 22 through the purge passage 26 and then purged from the bypass passage 26 to the intake passage 3. An open/close valve placed in the ejector 22 is configured to allow or block a flow of air from the intake passage 3 to the bypass passage 21 according to a pressure difference between pressure in the upstream portion and pressure in the downstream portion of the bypass passage 21 during engine operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
