<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a brake from being heated in excess of an allowable temperature range of the brake and secure a dynamic property of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A temporary maximum torque Trmaxtmp as a temporary value of a maximum value of a torque to be set as a request torque Tr* is set based on a vehicle speed V. An allowable torque rate Kb is set to 1 when the vehicle speed V is not more than a first vehicle speed V1 or when the vehicle speed V is not less than a fourth vehicle speed V4. The allowable torque rate Kb is set to a value kref less than 1 when the vehicle speed V is larger than the first vehicle speed V1 and smaller than the fourth vehicle speed V4 (step S120). An engine 22 and motors MG1, MG2 are controlled such that the request torque Tr* is output within a range not more than a maximum torque Trmax obtained by multiplying the temporary maximum torque Trmaxtmp by the allowable torque rate Kb, for traveling (step S130-S200). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
