<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in steering feeling during the execution of sensorless control. <P>SOLUTION: A dead zone processing part 112 inputs a calculated induced voltage e' calculated by an induced voltage calculating part 111, and enlarges the dead zone of the calculated induced voltage e' following an increase in a current command value in accordance with a dead zone designation signal S output from a dead zone changing part 113. An estimated electric angle correcting part 120 advances an estimated electric angle by a fixing avoidance additional set angle Δθ1 when an electric angle fixing state is detected by an electric angle fixing determining part 119.
