PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamination body for a battery outer case, having a high gas barrier property, in which leakage of an electrolytic solution does not occur even under a severe environment, and a secondary battery having a long service life and high cycle characteristics by using the lamination body for the battery outer case. SOLUTION: The lamination body for the battery outer case includes a barrier layer and a heat seal layer on a base material, in which calcium hydroxide or calcium oxide is contained in at least either of the heat seal layer or the barrier layer, and the lamination body for the battery outer case and the secondary battery are provided.
