PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for substantially automatically creating attribute information of an input field in an OCR slip without using any complicated operation process in a conventional method, and achieving more efficient data processing by solving the disadvantages of the conventional technology. SOLUTION: In the system for automatically determining input part and setting input rule for automatically creating an electronic investigation slip by using an optical reader, an input field information determination method includes:generating image data of an investigation slip where nothing is written and an investigation slip on which a specific symbol has been written; and automatically obtaining input field information on the basis of a differential part to be obtained by collating the image data.
