DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TREATING NITROGEN COMPOUND-CONTAINING ACIDIC SOLUTIONS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and economically treat nitrogen compound-containing acidic solutions such as monoethanolamine-containing dilute hydrochloric acid waste water discharged during regeneration of a condensate desalinator used in a nuclear power plant and a thermal power plant. SOLUTION: The nitrogen compound-containing acidic solution is made to pass through a raw water chamber 22 of a neutralization dialysis device 2 in which the raw water chamber 22 and an alkaline solution chamber 23 are separated by an anion exchange film 21. After the acidic solution is neutralized and desalinated by an alkaline solution which is made to pass through the alkaline solution chamber 23, the nitrogen compounds in a neutralized-desalinated treated solution are concentrated by an electric deionization device 4. The neutralization dialysis treatment using the anion exchange film 21 and the alkaline solution can neutralize and desalinate the nitrogen-compound containing acidic solution and the nitrogen compounds can be efficiently separated from the neutralized-desalinated treated solution and concentrated.
