PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which easily changes processing contents, when extracting information added to a document and performing processing according to extraction result. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus reads first and second tickets and performs processing extracted from information of the tickets, wherein information regarding a processing target area is extracted from a written processing instruction, that is a document in which the processing target area in a processing target document is described, for creating a ticket and the ticket is created to which an image has been added, with the image being obtained by coding the information and processing contents, with respect to the processing target area into a form recognizable for the image processor. Here, the first ticket is created to which an image has been added, with the image being obtained by extracting information about processing contents with respect to an area, for which a change in processing contents of the written processing instruction is not permitted, and coding the information into a form recognizable for the image processing apparatus, and the second ticket is created to which an image has been added, with the image being obtained by extracting information about processing contents with respect to an area, for which a change in processing contents of the written processing instruction is permitted, and coding the information into a form recognizable for the image processing apparatus.
