PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television which combines broadcast with net moving image content distribution. SOLUTION: The television 100 can change over a plurality of channels by a remote control 10, and reproduce a moving image content received via a network, wherein the remote control 10 includes a plurality of channel selection buttons 18 for selecting any of the plurality of channels, and transmits a signal allowing a moving image content to be reproduced when the channel selection button 18 for selecting an empty channel for which no broadcast is set by a TV tuner 120 out of the plurality of channel selection buttons 18 is operated by a user. An STB 105 outputs, to the television 100, a moving image content selected by a predetermined rule in response to reception of the signal allowing the moving image content to be reproduced.
