CONTENTION BASED RESOURCE CONFIGURATION METHOD AND APPARATUS

A contention based resource configuration method is disclosed. The method includes: a network equipment configures Contention Based (CB) resource parameters, the CB resource parameters include one or any combination of the followings: period and/ or frequency of the CB resource block, number for one time configured the CB resource blocks, size of the CB resource block, Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS), desired reception power; the network equipment notifies the CB resource parameters to a User Equipment (UE). With the technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the CB resources on the network side can be distributed more properly, the user equipment can obtain the parameters of the CB resources, and the usage of the CB resources can be more properly and flexible.
