METHOD FOR CALCULATING AMOUNT OF SOLAR ENERGY RESOURCES USING LAND COVER CLASSIFICATION DATA

PURPOSE: A method for calculating amount of solar energy resources using land cover classification data is provided to accurately calculated potential endowed amount of solar energy, potential available amount, potential technology, and available supply amount. CONSTITUTION: An insolation which is detected in one or more regions is used as a raw data. Various potential values about solar energy are calculated based on the detected data. The solar radiation is measured by a horizontal plane solarimeter, a pyrheliometer, a solar energy tracing device, and a sunlight tracking device. The observational data database comprises a plurality of distributions which are obtained through a preprocessing process of a GIS(Geographic Information System).
