MAGNET AND POSITION SENSOR USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A magnet and position sensor using the same are provided to increase the precision of sensor by changing the area of magnet and securing the linearity of the magnet Gauss value. CONSTITUTION: A magnet comprises N pole formed in the one side(S1) of the body and S pole formed in the other side(S2) of the body. A position detection element generates voltage by the change of the magnetic flux density of magnet. The width of body is gradually narrowed toward the both end. The side of magnet is formed into elliptic shape. The magnet secures the linearity of the magnet Gauss value by changing the area of magnet.
